About Dr. Ivonne Boujaoude

Perhaps Dr. Boujaoude’s greatest asset is her own personal healing journey (mental health and autoimmune conditions) as she is able to connect and understand her clients’ pain and frustration with their own chronic conditions. She understands the impact that poor health has on other areas of life such as relationships, work and life enjoyment.
Her areas of expertise are autoimmune conditions and brain related disorders. She has helped numerous clients suffering from Celiac, Hashimoto’s and fibromyalgia as well as client with depression, anxiety, OCD, ADD, postpartum depression, Alzheimer’s, cognitive decline, migraine, ADD and Autism. Because most clients with autoimmune conditions and brain related disorder have an underlying gut problem, she has extensive experience working with clients suffering from leaky gut, IBS, food sensitivities, SIBO, chronic infections, environmental/seasonal allergies and toxicity issues.
Dr. Boujaoude puts into practice the philosophy that the body was designed to heal itself and symptoms are the body’s language to communicate with us that something is wrong, and it must change. She believes that it is here where you can make the necessary changes, take away what is blocking the body and give it what it needs, and this is how optimal health is created.
Dr. Boujaoude has made it her life mission to empower people to take control of their health by getting to the root cause of their condition while harnessing the power of Nature. Her therapeutic modalities are varied starting from food as medicine to lifestyle modifications, supplements, homeopathy and herbal medicine.
Finally, she enjoys daily exercise, Bible reading and meditation, creating nutritionally rich meals, long hikes in nature and spending quality time with family and friends.

About Alexis Appleberry Wellness & Accountability Coach
Alexis own healing journey began as a very young overweight single mom desiring to lose weight, resolve her nasty headaches and digestive issues. She was broke, lonely and confused. She tried so many diets and supplements, but nothing seemed to work for her and her cravings were still out of control. She even had bulimia for a short while in an effort to try to control her weight and she drank wine at night to relieve her headaches. Her life was beginning to spin out control and she finally had to take a long hard look in the mirror and come to realize that she needed change! That was her rock bottom.
The very next day Alexis checked out several books from the library on nutrition. This was before the internet so the library was her only option! She started learning about nutrition and exercise and began implementing her new habits right away. She finally lost the weight and got her health back but it did take time and she did have setbacks. Surrounding herself with supportive relationships and other people with good habits proved to be important for her success. Alexis became so passionate about her new found health that she decided to make a career out of it. Juggling a toddler and working two jobs made getting a college education the typical way difficult but she was tenacious.
